Activate the Anti Spam Plugin.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Many anti spam plugins are offered for wordpress. One of the most popular and widely used anti spam plugins is akismet. This plugin is developed by the WordPress Team. This plugin is widely used because when installing WordPress, Akismet is included in the default plugin, then we need to set it up. Akismet setup is quite easy, we only need to register and get the API Key. The setting method can be seen on the link <a href=\"http:\/\/ptik.um.ac.id\/en\/setting-plugin-akismet\/\"><em>this<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If you really don&#039;t want to receive comments, please deactivate comments<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Changing the admin account.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All accounts with the admin username must be changed. Change can be on the dashboard then click menu <strong>User, Add New. <\/strong>After having a new user, please delete the admin user and most importantly transfer the website content to the new user.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Using a combination password<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Password is the key to website security. Password generation should be a combination of letters, numbers, punctuation, and upper or lowercase letters. In creating a password in wordpress, the password indicator is made strong or weak. We recommend that you create a password until the indicator shows that your password is strong.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5. Update wordpress and plugins<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We know that wordpress is one of the well-known CMS and has been developed by various communities and individuals. So that if there is a known bug in WordPress, the developers will immediately update it. That&#039;s why wordpress updates should be done regularly when the latest version comes out. Updates also need to be made to plugins.
